    All Summer Long invites viewers to join The Underclassmen as they experience the unpredictable fun that is summer camp, while charting their spiritual journey across the Western half of the United States. From the craziness of food fights, to the sliminess of Ultimate Squid, to the encounters with Jesus at the altar, viewers follow The Underclassmen and all of their hilarious and heartfelt adventures.

    National motivational youth speaker Gabe Salazar hosts this reality program that delivers solutions to problems that teenagers face. Life is all about the choices we make, especially when we are young. Gabe provides illustrations and alternatives as he mentors a different troubled teen each episode. Teens have problems; Gabe is here to fix them.

    Festival Life is a reality television arts/culture/travel show geared for the Christian audience that takes place at summer Christian music festivals across the United States. Much like the Travel Channel’s highly successful show Man vs. Food, this program highlights the uniqueness and idiosyncrasies of 12-20 Christian music festivals during the summer season.

State: of the Art Productions is actively invested in helping groups and causes that improve our community take those first critical steps. We help charitable and faith-based organizations improve and advance their knowledge of multimedia production, social media marketing and current trends in the arts that can advance their mission and broaden their reach. We connect groups with speakers and experts that can provide key organizational insight and guidance. We also support deserving short-term charitable campaigns with finances and infrastructure.

Live Performance

We produce experiences and creative spaces that inspire. Through live perfomance of comedy, music, theater, and improvisation, State: of the Art Productions seeks to connect audiences and artists.

Youth Audiences

We deliver a roster of life-affirming speakers and performers that reach the millennial and younger generations. Topics include innovation, future, creative arts, sketch comedy, music, the creative process, joy, discipleship, and prayer. We seek to engage the lives of today’s youth in dynamic ways, so that they would be provoked to seek out a higher truth in Jesus Christ.

Organizational Audiences

We are committed to connecting the media arts industry with the faith-based community through events that foster dialogue, provide instruction, and inspire creative collaboration. Our speakers are comprised of established artists who follow Christ from Los Angeles and beyond.

    Edward Portillo / CEO

    This Los Angeles native found his niche in producing for reality television and stage productions. He was acknowledged for his accomplishments by Latino Leaders magazine and featured as one of the up-and-coming young leaders to watch. His recent work includes the short films Good Friday and 168 Film Festival finalist, Temezcal, as well as a number of award-winning commercials. His writing and acting have been featured in the first-ever viral video turned feature film 305. Edward currently lives in Los Angeles and attends Reality Church.

    Michael Portillo / Senior Consultant

    Michael provides organizational and financial strategy support for State: of the Art Production. Michael has a background in district management, multi-unit management, sales, education, training, and public service. He holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Pepperdine University and a Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Redlands, School of Business.

    Naomi Kasa / Consultant

    Naomi is a producer and designer with multiple credits in a wide variety of multimedia applications. She has produced several award-winning independent feature and short subject films as well as commercial and promotional pieces. For the last five years, she has worked primarily as a creative director, focusing on visual communication, brand development and marketing. She recently art directed ZuCamp, a successful MMORPG for tweens. She is also a marketing design consultant for Orbit Media Group, one of the largest distributors and creators of faith-based ‘edutainment’ media content. In her spare time, she teaches and advises at the university level.
